Outdoor 10am Services begin this week
If the temperature is cold or the weather is rainy we will hold services in our Historic Chapel.
ICE CREAM SUNDAYS are back! Following our outdoor 10:00am services this summer, linger in the shade for delicious ice cream treats!
PLEASE PARTNER WITH ANOTHER HOUSEHOLD to facilitate an “Ice Cream Sunday” this summer after a 10am service. It involves doing 3 things: 1) Fill up a clear reservoir with ice water in the kitchen. 2) Move some ice cream treats from the standup freezer to the cooler on the cart in the middle Rummage Room. 3) Push the cart to the front parking lot at the end of the service, and put everything away after 20 minutes or so. This is a HUGE SERVICE to all our members. Look for the sign-up sheet in the kitchen and thank you!
THE ECW BOARD MEETING will be held today, June 11, in the Fireplace Room at 11:15 am.
A POST-RUMMAGE MEETING is set for tomorrow, June 12th, at 1:00 pm in Galloway Hall. Come to share your thoughts and ideas!
“INSPIRED” is the name of our next book-group book. In this, Rachel Held Evans’ most famous book, we explore Holy Scripture as inspired, personal, metaphorical and true. Read the Introduction through page 28 for our first meeting on Thurs, June 22. We meet at 10:30am in the library across from the office.
THE NEXT ECW GENERAL MEETING is set for June 18th at 11:15 am after church service.
