ONLINE PHOTO DIRECTORY: We have updated our webpage to include a web-version of our Photo Directory. The password-protected page includes photos and names, but no contact information. The page is linked to our database, so it will always be current. To learn the login and password, reach out to us at goodnews@saintjamesgi.net or ask another member or Fr. Phil. It is meant to be widely known by parishioners but not bad actors, so we plan to only share in verbally and never in print. Find the directory through our webpage at SaintJamesGi.net

THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE PARISH is scheduled for Sunday, January 28, at 11am in Galloway Hall. This is a celebration of our past year and a looking-forward to what God is calling us to accomplish this year. We will also elect officers and bestow the Alice Award, so don’t miss it!
NEW VESTRY MEMBERS WILL BE ELECTED at our annual meeting on January 28. Please consider whether you may feel called to help guide the ministries and future of Saint James. Vestry terms are 3 years, the group meets once a month. You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to listen, discuss, and help-out as needed.
IF ACTIVE MILITARY are a part of your family, please put a photo of them on the main hallway bulletin board by the office. Every time we see them we will pray for them!
PLEASE TURN IN YOUR PLEDGE CARD for 2024. Online cards can be found at www.bit.ly/SJ-grateful. Please be generous as we look at expanding our ministries in 2024!
THE CHRISTNET WARMING SHELTER is returning to Grosse Ile on January 21-28. We feed the Downriver homeless and give them a warm place to sleep. Volunteers from the island churches provide dinners and nightly supervision. St. James will be providing the dinner and supervision on Monday. There will be sign up sheets for food and supervision times in the hallway next week. Sue Lowery, Interfaith Council Rep, 734-771-2503.
