Welcomed in Holy Baptism Today we welcome Giovanna Grace Bisaro into our fellowship in Christ.
ECW General Meeting This Week Please grab a coffee and a treat and join us after the 10:00am service in the Fireplace Room for a quick meeting. Remember that all women of St. James are members of our ECW. You do not have to sign up, pay dues or commit to anything. Just show up and join us to hear about what’s going on in the Church. We try to keep the meetings short because we know that your families are enjoying coffee hour and that doesn’t last too long. We would love to have some of the younger women give us input as to what they would like to see happening at our Church.
An All-Parish Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 18th, at 11:15 am. Join us for a celebration of our life together.
Ministry Area Reports Due Monday, January 12 to be included in our parish Annual Report. Please submit your report for 2014 to office@saintjamesgi.net
Questions for Sermons A January sermon will be dedicated to answering parishioner questions about Scripture, Theology, Doctrine, Social Issues, Worship, History or Tradition. Send your question to rector@saintjamesgi.net or place it in the box by Fr. Phil’s door.

Craft night
Calling all ladies of St. James. Please join us on Monday night, January 12th for an ECW craft night. We will be working on a couple of crafts that we will donate to one of our outreach programs. These will be easy crafts that require no special talents. Not feeling crafty????, then just join us for some light refreshments and girl talk. We won’t make you work. We ladies do love to get together and just enjoy each other’s company. The Blue Book says “Salad Potluck”, but we have decided that you don’t need to bring anything. We will supply light refreshments. We will begin around 7 pm. Hope to see you for an evening of fun.
Thirty-One Bag party
On January 25th, we will be hosting a “thirty-one” party after the 10:00 service. Our own Patricia Saavedra is a representative for these bags and has offered to help us host a party so that we can use the rewards to purchase beautiful bags with the Saint James logo to serve as welcome bags for new parishioners. For those of you who are not familiar with these products, they are wonderful! They have storage solutions, organizational solutions, beautiful totes and purses. They have hundreds of different options and personalization styles. Once you see them, you will be hooked!

Let Every Voice be Heard
There is no time like the present to start getting your voice in shape for the upcoming Beautiful Hymns of Old community hymn sing. Please sing 5 LAs and 5 MEs after me — LA LA LA LA LA, ME ME ME ME ME, and again — LA LA LA LA LA, ME ME ME ME ME. Very good!! Faithfully continue practicing these vocal exercises until we see and hear you at the hymn sing. Did we mention that this is a FREE hymn sing?! Circle Sunday, January 25 on your calendar and plan to come sing with us at 3:00 in the afternoon. You are welcome to come early to find that perfect seat. Our Doors Open Wide at 2:30. After we sing the last hymn we hope you will stay for refreshments and conversation.
