HOLY MOMENTS OF THE WEEK
Send yours to GoodNews@SaintJamesGi.net
Thank you, Patricia Saavedra and family for the special Advent Breakfast and Hot Chocolate Bar! It was delicious!!
The cast of Boar’s Head pays homage to Christ and the Holy Family in rehearsal.
Fr. Phil received this pectoral cross from Fr. Krejci, a previous rector of St. James who received it himself as a young priest from a retiring clergy person. Fr. Phil is proud to carry on the tradition!

EPIC ADVENTURE

HOW TO BE HOLY: “Wake up, Trim your lamp, Protect your light”
Rise Up, Ye Saints of God!
THANK YOU FOR THE COOKIES!!
–Thank you from the bottom of my heart! When I saw all the cookies baked and donated, it took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. I can’t imagine the Incarcerated Youths’ eyes when they see the cookies on the trays piled high for them.
As we look forward to presents under the tree in a warm home, delicious dinner with friends and family, these young adults are praying for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Maybe with all of us praying along with their chaplains, their lives will be safer, healthier, more productive, and guided by the same Holy Spirit that watches over us and blesses us.
May the Light of God shine down on each of you during this Holy Christmas season and throughout the New Year 2024. May that same Light bring healing and peace throughout the World.
Love and hugs,
Sue Anderson
Ps. There will be little mini loaves of Amish and Zucchini bread in the kitchen this weekend all of you who baked cookies for the Incarcerated Youth
