Free Books Father Phil is slimming down his collection.  Stop in the library and peruse the books on the table.  Take home any that interest you!

Evening Prayer with Holy Eucharist  Wed. July 8th at 6:30pm in Dingell Park, Southfield and Jefferson in Ecorse.  We will meet in the middle of the park.  This is for this week only due to Wyandotte’s Street Fair, the following week worship will return to Bishop Park. Bring your own lawn chair. You may choose to  come early and bring a light supper.

Upcoming Spirit of Hope Soup Kitchen Volunteer Opportunities:

Sat. July 18:  We set up and prepare the meal.  Sacred Heart will serve.

Sat. Sept. 19:  St. James will do this day alone.  There will be 2 shifts.

We will not be serving in August, as Sacred Heart will work this day themselves.  The sign-up sheets are posted on the Outreach Bulletin Board in the Hallway, as well as on the Coffee Hour sign-up table in Galloway Hall. VBS August 3-7 Save the date for a great week of Fun, Faith and Fellowship.

Open Book Theatre’s Summer Camp offers a chance for each student to shine.  Classes for children 1st – 12th grade are offered July 13-24th, Monday – Friday, 9am-3pm.  Registration forms are available on the table outside the office.  For more information visit www.openbooktc.com or talk to Krista.

An On-going Bible Study is held each Sunday at 9 AM in the Fireplace Room.

Fr. Phil’s Open Office Hours are every Tuesday from 4:30-6:30pm. These are open drop-in hours, so you do not need an appointment. These meetings are usually 30 minutes or less. For a longer meeting call or email ahead to schedule a time.

Join us for a Weekday Eucharist every Wednesday at 10:15 am in the chapel. Wednesdays at 11 am join us for a spontaneous potluck in Galloway Hall.
