Why did God change the rules with Jesus? How was Judaism a revolution and what can we learn from it in our day? Why has the church so often strayed from the example of Jesus? Who and what is the Holy Spirit, and why do we not know? How can we strengthen our spiritual lives by A) Avoiding the past mistakes of Christianity/Judaism and B) learning from Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection, and example?

FIND OUT IN OUR 2015 LENTEN PROGRAM!

FROM LAW TO SPIRIT

Mar 4: SESSION 2   We consider what changed with the coming of Jesus, and how a radical new set of outsiders were brought into God’s fold through him.

Mar 11: SESSION 3   We look at our attempts over the past 2,000 to live the Jesus revolution, focusing on how we have met a major crisis in our understanding every 500 years.

Mar 18: SESSION 4    We seek out what God is revealing to us today about True Christianity, asking why church and society seem to be in such flux in our time, and considering what the answer might be.

Mar 25: SESSION 5   We look at a potential new revolution God may have in mind, and consider how God might intend for the next 3,000 years of Christianity to unfold, especially including the final coming of Christ.

Recipes Needed!

Greetings from the Cookbook Committee. We are actively working to provide a new parish cookbook. We would like to get recipes from everyone.  We have about 100 recipes now but would love to have more!  If you have a recipe that is one of your favorites, please send it to us.

This recipe could be something from your Mother or Grandmother. We are also looking for recipes from the Men’s Group, Sunday School Children, Busy Day Recipes from Young Mothers, Cooking for One, Cooking for Two, Cooking for a Crowd, etc. The committee will put them into the format that is needed for the cookbook.
