We would like to do something that makes so many of us happy about the coming of Christmas! On Monday evening, December 8, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00; we will gather around the Christmas tree in our Fire Place Room. This is the Monday after Greens Market finishes. This celebration will be a joyful way to relax and to prepare our hearts for Christmas! We will enjoy the light supper we used to have when we celebrated the Service of Light, but here comes the change… We will stay in the comfort of our decorated Fire Place Room where we will take turns “calling out” Christmas Carols we would each like to sing! We are so excited to tell you that Larry Crabtree will be our pianist!!! Larry is extremely talented and we are so very grateful to have him to lead us in song!! Thank you Larry! Please plan to join us for this evening of fun, food, and fellowship. Everyone is welcome! Tune in to 100.3 FM and start practicing now! Please call one of us if you have any questions, if you would like to play for us, or if you know someone else who would. With Love & Thanks, Sylvia Booth 734-771-8451 and Amy Kohair 734-693-0694

Inter-Faith Council
Last week, our community housed and fed 28 homeless people involved in the Christnet program. The Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church provided the shelter and members of all Grosse Ile churches participated by making and serving food, staffing the program, doing laundry and listening to the needs of our guests. Thank you to all members of St. James who volunteered to help. Your time and loving concern was much appreciated. Thank you also, to all who prayed for our guests and those who served them.
Blessings,
Sue and Jane
