 🎵 🎶 🎶🎵  MUSIC NOTES  🎵🎶🎶 🎵

Choir and bell choir is up and running! Please consider joining, all are welcome and it is a fun and exciting environment to sing, ring, and explore the rich history of church music. Bell Choir rehearses Thursdays at 6:30, and Vocal Choir rehearses at 7:30 on Thursdays.

This morning’s musical point of interest: Lots of great music this morning. We start with the great Johannes Brahms, whose last 11 compositions were a set of organ chorale preludes. The choir will sing a beautiful 16th century Catholic hymn, whose composer is unknown. Then we close with a postlude by another great German romantic, Anton Bruckner, who, apart from a multitude of choral and symphonic compositions, was a terrific organist .

Upcoming Music Events
Oct. 18-21: BGSU New Music Festival, featuring guest composers Steven Mackey and

Sarah Kirkland Snider. Google “BGSU New Music Festival” for details.

Oct. 21, 4pm: Choral Evensong at Trinity Episcopal Church in To, Ohio.
