THE SPD HANDBELL CHOIR begins rehearsing on Thursday, October 8, at 6:30 pm in the main sanctuary. Members will be socially distanced from one another throughout the time and face coverings will be worn.  Contact our Minister of Music, Jim Johnson, if you are interested in joining: music@saintjamesgi.net

IN-PERSON WORSHIP RESUMES for the 8am and 10am services on Sunday, October 11, in accordance with new guidance issued by Bishop Bonnie. This may change at any time, depending on the severity of the pandemic in Michigan and the discernment of the vestry. During this time you are encouraged to make the best decision for yourself and your household regarding attendance. Our online YouTube services will continue to be available throughout the year until a vaccine is widely available.

THE GREENS MARKET WILL BE HELD this year, but it will be very different. We cannot assemble for the most glorious work week, as in the past. So this year we are having a limited Greens Market of PRE-ORDERS ONLY, with roadside pickup on Saturday, December 5. Order Forms will be available next week. Please return them as soon as possible. Everyone who placed an order last year will receive a call. It is the ECW’s intent to keep this great tradition going!!

LAWN AERATION AND OVERSEEDING were completed this week by Junior Warden Pete Jett and Fr. Phil. It was a lot of steps! Keep your eyes out for the brown areas of the lawn to turn a beautiful green in the month to come.

WE FONDLY REMEMBER MARGE TREADWELL in our prayers, who died this week at the age of 99. May God bless her and keep her, and comfort all the bereaved.

THE FALL RUMMAGE SALE will not be held due to the global pandemic. We hope to see you in the Spring!
